Insights Discovery saves lives

Well, sort of.

Given that my previous job was in the Health Service, working for a business has always felt just a bit less worthy. That’s not a reflection on Insights in particular; it would be true of most businesses. Also, I get personal benefits out of working for a business that the Health Service couldn’t give me, so it’s my choice.

However, it’s nice to be able to think that my work (and the work of many others around me) has clearly done some good. So I was quite interested to hear that a team sailing round the world use our reports to avoid killing each other! (This product may contain some traces of hyperbole.)

The NHS is still more worthy; but I feel a bit better about working for a business today.
